Growing numb after a couple hours of making dull figure skating photos, I took a walk around the food court. There were a few TV monitors showing the action. This cat was catatonic. The scene at figure skating is the complete opposite of the hockey venue. One is way more fun than the other.
I think I need my own Olympic DJ, someone to entertain folks in the media tent between photo ops.
When I arrived at the hockey venue Tuesday, I noticed how polished the rink glass was. Thought it’d be a snap to shoot action through it. Then a buddy said how warped it was in the corners. Happy to report he was exactly right.
